Singing Mamas is an incredible network of women's singing groups stretching across the UK, bring together all women (and their little ones if wished) to gather weekly and connect in song. It is a song sharing and a support network, a friendship group and a work out for mind and body!
Looking after each other and connecting in song improves mental health and gives us all a much needed boost and sense of community. It seriously doesn't matter whether you think you can sing or not ! Give yourself (and your little ones if you wish to bring them along) the gift of harmony! x Membership is taken monthly through Gocardless, for ease and so that you are in control of starting and stopping whenever you like. Please try to give one month's notice if you wish to stop so that I can offer your place out to another mama.
In person sessions run during term time and membership includes free access to my online evening choir, HARMONY! so that if you are ever away, need to isolate or just want to maintain the connection outside of regular term time, you don't need to miss out!
We have full government approval to run IN-PERSON singing support space groups supporting peri-natal mental health of up to 15 people, even if we were to go back into full lockdown! SMC runs as a not-for-profit community interest company.
HARMONY! Online Choir is an open-to-all Natural Voice Choir for fun, connection and some fab songs! We gather on Wednesday nights, 8-9pm on Zoom. It's a warm and welcoming group and we sing songs from all over the world and is a lot of fun with the occasional bit of silliness!
Invite your friends, wherever they may be, and join in the singing!
Zoie uses a loop station to layer the harmonies so that we can still sing together in harmony, even when muted and through Zoom! To get connected, here is the link: Click here or Go to www.zoom.us then click on 'Join Meeting' Meeting ID: 475-222-1488 password: HARMONY
ALL of my groups have a couple of bursary places available for anyone struggling. If this is you, or applies to someone you know, PLEASE do get in touch. The world feels like a crazy place right now and it is more important than ever that we are held in community and keep singing.
