Zoie believes that singing is a birthright lost to our western culture. She is a catalyst for bringing song back into the lives of all people, to reconnect them with themselves, their communities, their land and all our lost stories.
Zoie is so excited to be collaborating once again with the incredible Sophie Brigstocke with their transformational one-day workshops and full 6 night retreat, LIBERATE YOUR VOICE.

She is also looking at launching THE MOTHER SHIP COMMUNITY, a safe and nurturing song support space to navigate the crazy transition into motherhood. A small, fun, irreverent group of up to 10 women to laugh, cry, question and discover what they need and how things are changing as they move through pregnancy and into motherhood.

This Easter Zoie performed back in The Maldives in her ninth residency!
Zoie is part of a very exciting project,'Ursa Minor', a new play by Stephanie Street, directed by Abigail Graham. The story of a choir, of motherhood, connection, loneliness and transformation through song. We have already done a development week at the National Theatre studios... Watch this space!
Zoie recently ran 'The Sound of Community' at the ASHA centre as part of their Rites of Passage course for youth workers from across Europe, exploring how and why we use song and sound to gather, connect and maintain communities.

In my first few months of motherhood, making friends and even making conversation were a daunting prospect, but popping along to singing mamas and belting out some songs without any need for preparation or even much of a voice was an utter pleasure... not much beats the gentle companionship of fellow mums raising our voices to sing in friendship... especially when that includes Zoie and cake!
